Best new icon packs for Android (June 2015)

What's one of the easiest ways to breathe in new life in your phone's interface is by giving it an icon overhaul. There are already a great lot of totally awesome and beautiful icon packs for Android.

But this abundance of notable icon packs does not mean that a handful of noteworthy ones don't appear on Google Play each and every day - on the contrary, at least one collection of icons gets released each
day. However, keeping tabs on all of these is quite a cumbersome task, even for those who are into such things.

This is why we regularly show you the icon packs that have recently made their way to the Play Store and deserve your attention. Have in mind that you'd normally need a third-party launcher in order to change your stock icons with some of the beautiful suites right. Note that as a rule of thumb these are usually compatible with all third-party launchers that support icon packs, such as Nova, Apex, etc.

Here are the better new ones:

1. Veno

3,245 - that's the amount of icons you'll get if you shell out a buck for Veno. Apart from the large amount of apps, this icon pack also comes with
30 Quad HD wallpapers and supports Nova, Apex, Action, Adw, AdwEX, Atom, Aviate, GO, Inspire, KK, Lucid, Next, Nine, Smart, Solo, TSF, CM Theme Engine. Icon masking and dynamic calendar support are also on board.

2. Utopia

There are some 2,900 beautiful icons inside Utopia, as well as a handful of wallpapers fit for Quad HD displays. A widget with an analog clock is also on board; you can request new icons via the built-in tool, too.

3. Equinox

This black & white icon pack has more than 3,700 icons in tow, with 10 Quad HD wallpapers, Muzei support, icon masking/theming, and a whole lot of other features on board.

4. Color Icon^2

There are less than 500 icons in Color Icon², but this doesn't mean that you should avert your eyes from this icon pack. The iconography is pretty neat and the icon pack is compatible with many launchers, like Nova, Apex, Aviate, ADW, Action, Smart, Next, Holo, and others.

5. Soul

Inside, you'll find more than 1,900 icons as well as a number of HD wallpapers. More icons will certainly arrive later on, as the developer is committed to bi-weekly updates.

6. Polycon

Polycon is one of those icon packs that go pretty well along with the Material Design looks of the latest Android versions.
